The Gîte de la Léchère is an old alpine chalet that has been restored and converted into a gîte by the Val-Ferret ski-club and the Champex-Ferret ski-club.
Val Ferret: a superb, welcoming region where nature and tranquillity go hand in hand. With its abundant wildlife and rich, varied flora, everything invites you to recharge your batteries.
The gîte is located on the famous Tour du Mont Blanc, on the left bank of the Val Ferret between La Fouly and Ferret at an altitude of 1720 m. In summer, you can drive to the Léchère bridge, a 10-minute walk from the gîte. Access to the gîte is by car for people with reduced mobility.
The gîte has thirty-five beds in 4 dormitories:
The dormitories
- 1 dormitory with 3 berths upstairs
- 1 dormitory with 8 berths upstairs
- 1 dormitory with 10 berths
- 1 dormitory with 14 berths
Bedding
The dormitories are equipped with Nordic sheets, pillows and duvets.
For hygiene reasons, a meat bag or sleeping bag is compulsory!
