HOW TO GET TO BOURG-SAINT-PIERRE

By car: A9 motorway, Martigny-Aoste-Chamonix exit, follow signs to Aoste

In Bourg-Saint-Pierre, turn right off the main road and park free of charge in the earthen square 100 m to the right.

By public transport: SBB train to Martigny, then Martigny-Orsières regional train. Then bus from Orsières to Bourg-Saint-Pierre. See www.cff.ch for timetables.

HOW TO GET TO MAUVOISIN

By car: A9 motorway, Martigny-Aoste-Chamonix exit, follow signs for Aoste. At Sembrancher, turn left and follow Verbier. At Le Châble, turn right and follow Lourtier-Mauvoisin to the car park at the foot of the dam.

By public transport: SBB train to Martigny, then Martigny-Le Châble regional train. Bus from Le Châble to Mauvoisin. See www.cff.ch for timetables.

HOW TO GET TO THE GREAT ST. BERNARD PASS

By car from Switzerland: A9 motorway, Martigny-Aoste-Chamonix exit, follow signs for Aoste

At Bourg-Saint-Bernard, leave the covered road and follow the road to the pass

By public transport from Switzerland: SBB train to Martigny, then Martigny-Orsières regional train. Bus from Orsières to the Great St Bernard Pass. See the timetable at www.cff.ch.

By car from Italy: A5 motorway, Aosta-Grand-Saint-Bernard exit.

At Aosta, leave the motorway and follow the SS27 as far as the entrance to the village of Saint-Rhémy. Turn right onto the main road and continue to the pass.

By public transport from Italy: FS train to Aosta. Bus from Aosta to the Great St Bernard Pass. For timetables, visit www.aosta.arriva.it

 

HOW TO GET TO SAINT-RHÉMY-EN-BOSSES

By car: A5 motorway, Aosta-Grand-Saint-Bernard exit.

At Aosta, leave the motorway and follow the SS27 to the entrance to the village of Saint-Rhémy.

By public transport: FS train to Aosta. Bus from Aosta to Saint-Rhémy. See www.aosta.arriva.it for timetables.
